In all the seasons of my life, I am most at ease when my hands are busy in the service of others. My little shop allows me to bake for a community that I care deeply about, and have humbly learned-they care about me.

Twelve years ago, Mom gifted me a ruby red 5 quart KitchenAid mixer. So I could "bake from home," she said. My siblings and I sat around and discussed names for my pipedream of a bakery. A hundred names. But Bent Spoons stood out at a time when our mother's health and resilience were constantly being tested.

From an in-home bakery when times were lean to my shop door, Bent Spoons has been about the resiliency of spirit. I could talk about a passion for food and the aesthetics of perfection. But if I can provide this one bright spot in your day, I'm happy and blessed to do the work.
I'm reminded to take pride in the relationships I've built since the first cake left my little kitchen, when most anything is available from a big box store.
By the slice or baked fresh to order, celebration cakes to focaccia bread...we offer a little bit of something for everyone.
As a graduate from the Le Cordon Blue with a focus on French pastry and viennoiserie, there's plenty of blending local fare with a little European flare. Bright flavors, tradition and a dash of whismy to keep things fun.
